The Mind Muscle Link

One term that you will sometimes hear in relation to building size and strength is “mind-muscle link”. The mind-muscle link can be described in simple terms as the ability to consciously control and receive feedback from a muscle. The development of a good mind-muscle link is an advantage when you are trying to get the most out of your training. It allows you to focus your energy on the appropriate muscles and be aware of any potential problems. You can help develop your mind-muscle link over time by focusing on your muscles while you are training and “listening” to their feedback.
