A Complete Video Guide To Escalating Density Training

EDT is the popular training system developed by Charles Staley and “A Complete Video Guide To Escalating Density Training” is the first DVD on the topic.

The DVD is almost 4 hours long and is broken into five chapters:

Chapter 1: Introduction to EDT

Chapter 2: Welcome to the PR Zone, Part I

Chapter 3: Welcome to the PR Zone, Part II

Chapter 4: Questions and Problem Solving

Chapter 5: Bonus — Lifting Biomechanics

The first section is a a discussion of EDT between Charles and Tim Larkin, creator of Target Focus Training. This is interesting, although I found the sound mixing to be a little annoying with Charles coming through loud and clear but Tim was a little difficult to hear.

The PR Zone sections are the highlights of the DVD. Here you get to see Tim and another of Charles trainees go through 15 minute PR Zone workouts. If you had any problems in working out how to apply EDT in your workout, watching these workouts will answer your questions.

In the Q&A section Charles addresses common queries that he’s had about EDT.

In the bonus section, Charles and Tim go through a workshop on good training form.

If your interested in learning more about this training system, The Complete Video Guide is definitely worth getting.
