When was the last time you did a exercise variation that you have not done before? Although it is important to focus on your basics, it doesn’t mean you have to do the same variation of the basics every time.
One of the easiest ways to increase your exercise options is to do one arm or one leg variations of an exercise. Try a one arm lat pulldown or a one leg Romanian deadlift.
Even changing hand or foot position can make a big difference. If you normally do standard deadlifts try doing a sumo deadlift or do your deadlift with a snatch grip. You may be surprised with how your body responds.
